Throughout the year the club organises trips for paddlers of all ages and abilities.
Day trips are organised at weekends, usually within 60 to 90 minutes drive of Stratford.
These trips give the opportunity for less experienced paddlers to get their first experience of moving water.
Symonds Yat is an excellent location on the River Wye where we often take children and novices for an introduction to paddling on moving water.
The Nene white-water centre in Northampton, which we frequently visit is an excellent facility for developing moving water and playboating skills.
Weekend trips which are usually only open to adult paddlers, offer the opportunity to paddle more challenging waters. In the winter the club usually rents bunkhouses for between 20 to 40 people and in the summer we camp. These weekends are enjoyable social events with many non-paddlers joining us for evenings which inevitably include a few drinks and much merriment. Camping trips in the summer are open to families and there are lots of children to play together.
